How fun are these leggings?? When I first got these from Liam’s Loft and opened them up I was a little hesitant about how I was going to wear these. But when I put them on I instantly knew that I needed to channel my inner Gwen Stefani (who doesn’t love a little Gwen inspiration??). I showed them to my mom and we both agreed that we could see her rocking out on stage in these.
Sorry I have been MIA, Houston and I have been enjoying the first week of our vacation! We made it to California and are now enjoying some time in Tahoe for the rest of the week. It’s been a great way for us to get some much needed time away from school!
One of my staples that I have worn a couple times already on this trip is this gorgeous dress.
I am counting down the days until Houston and I get to go visit our families back in California! I have also been planning out what I am going to wear when I am there (the best part of vacation prep!). This outfit is going to be my number one favorite one that I am packing! These leggings are so comfy and unique with the slits on the knees, I didn’t have anything like these in my closet so knew I had to have them! Plus how could I resist them in pink?! I have been living in them since I got them.
Anyone else feel like they are still trying to recover from all of the 4th of July festivities?? Houston and I didn’t even do that much but still are feeling so drained! I guess that is just a side affect of the whole holiday spirit of things. We really loved all of the 4th of July sales that were going on, Houston’s favorite shorts are from Old Navy (because they actually fit his athletic body type well without looking WAYYYY too baggy!) and they were on sale for $13 each! And I splurged a little at J. Crew…I guess its safe to say that the Wilfley’s love a good holiday sale!
Okay, it has been HOT HOT HOT in Rexburg this past week! After having it be freezing for the longest time I was convinced that Rexburg did not have proper summers but I was totally wrong. I have been working on a little refinishing project on some nightstands that we have in our room and I swear I was going to melt into a little puddle when I was working on them outside! But I managed to push through it and love how they turned out. I’m thinking a blog post on that soon?
The 4th of July is almost here! I have never really been the kind of girl who goes out and buys a specific outfit for the 4th but this year I decided to get into the spirit of things and find something for it. When I saw this dress from Liam’s Loft it was calling my name!
I am so excited about today’s post because this has been my favorite DIY of all time. I have been using clip in hair extensions for a couple years now and have never been super satisfied with them. I have tried really great brands like Laced hair extensions but they just never felt comfortable and I was always worrying about them showing if there was even a small breeze.
I love neon colors because they always make me look tanner than I really am. I am super pale right now still but look darker than I am in real life in this outfit, score! Today’s look is so fun and girly. I love these bell skirts and was so happy when I found this one at Francesca’s because it is actually long enough for me!
I am so excited to introduce you guys to an online jewelry shop called The Bangle Bear! They have the cutest bracelets that double as a holder for your hair ties – genius! I have been wearing these nonstop since they came in the mail. They have several different styles that come in either gold, silver, or rose gold. I have been loving layering my rose gold and silver together, they look timeless and simple, exactly what I need to add a little something to my outfits or layer with a watch. Who doesn’t love something that is functional and stylish?
When Facebook alerted me that Houston and I have been friends on Facebook for 2 years it reminded me that this is around the time when we first met. It brought back so many amazing memories! So for today I wanted to do something a little different and more personal and tell the story of how our story come to be. Enjoy!
