Another pink dress? I know, I know, but it is too pretty and perfect for spring! This is my last post about my favorite spring dresses and this one is so feminine and perfect for warm weather. Since it has been winter and I have lost whatever tan that I had last year, I knew that I needed something to cover up my painfully pale legs. These nude fishnets are such a fun alternative to regular tights, they just look so unique and girly! You all also know that I love a good pump, so these nude heels that I found for a steal at Nordstrom Rack were my go to shoe for this look to really tie everything together.
I have really been trying to boost up my collection of dresses for spring because I feel like my closet is lacking a little bit in that area. I love being able to throw a cute dress on with some heels and call it good! It makes getting ready so much easier and quicker! This dress is a new favorite of mine because it is unlike anything else that I have in my closet. I love the nude color and that it is so flowy. Such a great piece to have in your closet for when it gets warmer! I added these fun cage heels and a pop of pink with my favorite Rebecca Minkoff purse. Can you tell I am excited for summer?! Now all I need is a good tan!
Even though there is still snow on the ground it is slowly getting warmer, which makes me a happy girl! It also means that I have been building up my warm weather wardrobe and checking out all of the trends for this spring. Spring trends to me are all about having feminine cuts and colors.
I realized a little too late that I probably should have chosen a different background, one that didn’t match what I was wearing. Oops! Hindsight bias! I Really love this wall though, isn’t the pattern so cool? Next time I just need to wear a different color so I don’t blend in! But this swing dress really speaks for itself, amiright??
This retro swing dress is to die for.
It is no secret that I am a lover of gorgeous long locks! I have never been able to grow my hair out very long and it does grow it is too thin. So a couple of years ago I started to do my research and try out a ton of different brands to see what worked for me! Now I have a hair extension routine down that makes getting gorgeous hair take no time at all and gives me the hair of my dreams! It really is so easy and when you find the right brand that you love it makes things so much better!
With every season you need great transition pieces to get you through those times where the weather is a little uncertain about whether it wants to be warm or cold. In Idaho, February and March are the most uncertain months when it comes to the weather because it can’t decide if it wants to be Spring or Winter anymore. So I need cute pieces like this that I can wear for both!
I love a good all pink look, like you have probably heard before pink is a favorite of mine and so I try to wear it as often as I can! I love how bold and bright this one is with the cool patterns all over it, it is such a unique piece to have in your closet! I decided to go with soft make up for this one and a light pink lip to compliment this look.
I LOVE Valentines Day and I love being able to dress up! For this Valentine’s Day I have created three different looks, one red, one pink, and one casual, and three different hair and make up looks to go with them! I had so much fun creating these looks and hope that you can get a little fashion and beauty inspiration to create your own Valentine’s Day look that works for you! This is a three part blog post so you can go check out the other two posts for more looks! This look is, obviously, the red look. I have worn this before, I know, but it is my favorite! I love wearing all red because it is so bold and stands out a ton. It doesn’t hurt that it is extremely comfy too 😉 I went with a classic red lip with a soft brown eye look to match. I didn’t want to take away from the bold look of the jumpsuit so I kept the make up simple! For a better look at the make up and to see a step by step of how I created it, you can scroll down below!
I love the month of February because it is all about love. It gives me a chance to reflect on my sweet husband and show him a little more how much I appreciate all that he does for me and our marriage! We switch off giving each other an awesome Valentine’s Day each year and this year it is my turn to plan the day out so I am really excited to spoil him with some of his favorite things!
Can anyone else tell that I am a little obsessed with this body suit? I feel like I wear it every other day, its so great! I am a girl who could wear all black all day, everyday, I think that about half my closet consists of only black clothes. But I wanted to break that up a little with something that would turn more of a bland all black outfit into something a little more trendy and unique! I have seen so many of these cute suede mini skirts and needed to try it for myself! Since I don’t wear mini skirts I thought it went perfectly with a pair of soft leggings and, of course, my favorite bodysuit. This skirt is super soft and I love the button detailing down the front! It is a super easy piece that you can throw on with any look to spice it up. I also still am obsessed with choker so I had to add my favorite one on with this look 😉
