With every season you need great transition pieces to get you through those times where the weather is a little uncertain about whether it wants to be warm or cold. In Idaho, February and March are the most uncertain months when it comes to the weather because it can’t decide if it wants to be Spring or Winter anymore. So I need cute pieces like this that I can wear for both!
I love a good all pink look, like you have probably heard before pink is a favorite of mine and so I try to wear it as often as I can! I love how bold and bright this one is with the cool patterns all over it, it is such a unique piece to have in your closet! I decided to go with soft make up for this one and a light pink lip to compliment this look.
I LOVE Valentines Day and I love being able to dress up! For this Valentine’s Day I have created three different looks, one red, one pink, and one casual, and three different hair and make up looks to go with them! I had so much fun creating these looks and hope that you can get a little fashion and beauty inspiration to create your own Valentine’s Day look that works for you! This is a three part blog post so you can go check out the other two posts for more looks! This look is, obviously, the red look. I have worn this before, I know, but it is my favorite! I love wearing all red because it is so bold and stands out a ton. It doesn’t hurt that it is extremely comfy too 😉 I went with a classic red lip with a soft brown eye look to match. I didn’t want to take away from the bold look of the jumpsuit so I kept the make up simple! For a better look at the make up and to see a step by step of how I created it, you can scroll down below!
I love the month of February because it is all about love. It gives me a chance to reflect on my sweet husband and show him a little more how much I appreciate all that he does for me and our marriage! We switch off giving each other an awesome Valentine’s Day each year and this year it is my turn to plan the day out so I am really excited to spoil him with some of his favorite things!
Can anyone else tell that I am a little obsessed with this body suit? I feel like I wear it every other day, its so great! I am a girl who could wear all black all day, everyday, I think that about half my closet consists of only black clothes. But I wanted to break that up a little with something that would turn more of a bland all black outfit into something a little more trendy and unique! I have seen so many of these cute suede mini skirts and needed to try it for myself! Since I don’t wear mini skirts I thought it went perfectly with a pair of soft leggings and, of course, my favorite bodysuit. This skirt is super soft and I love the button detailing down the front! It is a super easy piece that you can throw on with any look to spice it up. I also still am obsessed with choker so I had to add my favorite one on with this look 😉
I keep praying for Spring and getting snow, I think that I need to change my thinking around so that all the snow can hurry up and melt away! It keeps snowing and I am 110% done with it! The only good thing about it is that I get to wear cute sweaters and my OTK boots that I have been wearing non-stop since I got them on Christmas break. Best $20 Nordstrom Rack find ever! I know that you really have to be in the mood to search when you are there but it is totally worth all the searching in the end when you find a deal like this.
If you knew my mom you would know that she loves bold and unique pieces that really stand out against what everyone else is wearing. And she always looks amazing, I am jealous of her ability to pair anything together and look great! For Christmas this past year she gave my sister and I the most amazing leggings that are so funky and fun! She loves skulls so naturally along with a fun striped pair of leggings, I get these cool skull ones from her. These helped me to step out of my comfort zone and try something super new! I wore these to a late lunch with Houston and when we were leaving someone was telling their family to look at my skull leggings, so if you want a statement piece people are going to notice then these are for you!
With Valentine’s day on the way in a couple weeks I wanted to put together a great Valentine’s night out look that is classy and elegant. I love this all pink look, but putting together a monochromatic look can be a little tricky so here are my tips to killing an all pink outfit! This cute modest look is perfect for anyone who wants a little pink in their life!
Well I think that I was wishing for warm weather a little too much because its been snowing since Wednesday night! I am so glad that I was able to enjoy the weather while it lasted! Now I am back to over sized sweaters and doubling up on my socks.
It’s hard editing these pictures and putting these posts together now that I am back in Rexburg. I just miss the Sacramento sun so much! I literally drove my car for 15 seconds to the mailbox the other day because I didn’t want to try and cross my apartment complex that is currently covered in a thick sheet of ice. Lazy or genius? I say the second 😉
