Happy start of the week loves! Today I am sharing a super simple and casual look with one of my favorite accessories: a good denim jacket. I have cropped denim, light wash denim, distressed denim, and dark denim. There are endless possibilities for outfits when you have a cute jacket.
I have linked my favorite jackets below! Along with some of the cutest sandals, fun grey shirts with the prettiest details, and my favorite Spanx leggings that hug every curve to make everyone look good!
Happy Sunday! Today we had a great morning at church where we taught the 3-5 year old children which was so much fun! But then we go home and it was as if everything decided to go wrong. The cat threw up, I was cooking and forgot to clean out the cleaner from the oven when I was heating it up, and then my homemade lasagna turned out crunchy on the top layer. Needless to say it has been an eventful Sunday! But I did want to share this Sunday Best look because I am obsessed with Rachel Parcell and anything she does, I just love her classic style! I found this sold out skirt from her collection on Poshmark for only $20 (brand new still in the bag!) It was a couple sizes too big so I had it tailored and it now fits perfectly! A white midi skirt is the perfect addition to any wardrobe, it is classic and goes with just about anything.
I have linked my favorite white midi skirts below as well as my favorite blush and nude colored tops to go with them! Summer is the perfect time for an ultra feminine look like this! Also those pink Steve Madden heels are totally calling my name! Happy Shopping!
I feel like it has been forever since I have posted! It feels good to be getting articles up again! Today’s review is on N07, a brand that has recently been promoted by top bloggers like Cara Loren and Amber Fillerup. I love a good deal and so I am always down to test out drug store brands to see if they hold up to their claims of being great! So keep reading to hear if No7 holds up to the praise that some of my favorite blogger gave them.
When Houston and I moved back to Sacramento we started off staying with my parents, then moved into an apartment that turned out to not be a good situation, and then moved into the apartment that we live in now. Finally being settled into this apartment has felt amazing! I love being in this new space, the apartment was brand new when we moved in, which has been amazing! I wanted to give a little peak at how we styled our living room and made it our own comfy, cozy, and glam style. I am a bargain shopper so a lot of the things that I have gotten have been from Hobby Lobby, Marshals, or even craigslist! That couch and living room table? Craigslist! Our corner chair? Free, my mom found it on our neighbors lawn with a “FREE” sign on it and made me hop out of the car and snatch it up. Our dining table? An old 1930’s table that I refinished. There are so many ways to have a space that is all your own while not breaking the bank! I love being able to find the best deals on things that really scream my name.
One of my staples this week has been this super cute beach shirt that I actually made myself! I had such a fun time getting to design my own shirt with Uber Prints, I honestly was not sure that I could do it when they first approached me about trying it out but the process was surprisingly simple!
Happy Monday! Anyone else get out today and watch the eclipse?? We all were able to take a look today at work and it was cooler than I expected! I was waiting for the sun to be fully covered and then realized that we in Sacramento were not going to have that happen for us…oh well!
Sacramento summers can get pretty hot so my summer wardrobe has mainly consisted of skirts, fun tops, and strappy heels so that I can stay somewhat cool during these hot months! I love trying new shapes and this trumpet skirt is totally new to me, I have nothing like it. I love that this fabric is super thick but stretchy at the same time, it helps to keep its shape close to your body which is ultra flattering!
